Stop using Outlook for crying out loud! I can't believe people still use it. There are 101 ways for spyware to infiltrate IE and Outlook to get everything off your computer.

Secondly, always use a throw-away web-based email address for tasks like this.

Third, use Firefox private browsing or better Chrome's Incognito Window when using a new site to be sure they don't track you. Only use a normal browser window once trust is established.

To my perseption obviously, WaynUser and Guest, above (very neutral pseudos, discrete), are either associated to WAYN, or decerebrated consumers playing the compute in their rooms.
That's why I cannot answer to them directly.
"I met a lot of interesting people from the whole world": this sentence means nothing on the webnet. Yes, I was contacted by many WAYN persons all over the world. And this: only on the base of my Name, gender and location, maybe age. Why should we share specifical interests, not loose time to build what I buit with tenthes of persons ? I have more criterias and interests among all my relations and neighbours whom I noted down and have little time to discuss with, and among all (to my eyes) VIP...
The sentence "WAYN provides a wonderful platform to exchange views and concepts of individuals ignoring race, region and religion and cut short the distance in seconds..." is just as plain. This is the specificity of any website and of WebCommunication in General. Ask the jailed Indonesian Nobel Peace Price about it ! Then "wonderful platform to exchange" is subjective and empty, 'lieu commun'.
Of course WAYN ignores and unknows anything up to religion race or region, you are really contacted by ANYbody described by no singular data at all. I don't know whether they exist actually: I can invent quickly hundreds of such neutral statistical description.
I really really wonder what a "concept" or even a "view" means for Mr Guest...
You find all this in the culture and on quest out in the surroundings.
Do you know, on calculation, how many countries of worlds and Galaxies you meet sendint a simple "american chain" ? That doesn't ad a quantum of sense to your relationship to world, that is the thing.
My God!, is THIS Internet social networking ???
Perplax and indignated Elisabeth

I'm a french women. I got into WAYN because of an invitation of a good friend. After some clicks, I had to give my email (OK I did) and then my email's password, I did'nt: it's the pump to many robberies. Passed through, and saw very poor basic datas (the ones to enter the site) about my friend, who had one friend there.
I got off and asked this friend about this strange, and maybe useless choice of social network. She said "nope, I never did, not my style". Then, within one hour, I got more than 10 requiries from people all over France or the world to be my friend, although there was no criterium of any kind of interest in my minimlist data. I tried to unsubscribe, but still today they join me for a present or whatever.
I put every thing in quaranteen and undesirable.
WHAT DOES THIS SITE INTEND TO DO ???
Thank you

Someone sent me an invitation and I went into it and looked around and put my name in the box. At the time I thought that i was signing up for Facebook because my friend kept sending me invites there. I had not noticed the mistake until the welcome email. I have been trying to figure out how to delete this profile since then and I am unable to do so. But here is more, I have been receiving emails from a lot of men, who I do not know and who has according to the site made comments about me. In order to see their comments, I must sign up to be a VIP and pay a subscription fee with my credit card. Do not believe this, I am sure these guys have not emailed me and I do believe that WAYN is probably sending messages to people that I want to be friends with them. I just want this account deleted from my life and i can't figure out what to do.

WAYN is still actively spewing spam - my hotmail account is blocked (but maybe they are in there too). I didn't even join it or click on it - just fwded it back to the supposed inviter with Q, then stupidly again fwded it with q to another after changing password ...now can't recover my account at all. I'm stymied, any help?

The last few comments are obviously from people who work for wayn. Anyways I found this site when googling my friends name. One of the first links that comes up is her wayn profile..shes never heard of the site though. Some of the info on her profile is correct but some is not.

I would suggest for any of you who are trying old passwords to get into your profile to immediately stop that. You are just giving wayn your passwords for them to use on other sites.

They are definitely acquiring this information illegally but I'm not sure what you can do about it yet. I've already contacted the attorney general for my state and will be investigating this further.

Hey Gib, I don't know if I ever replied to your question of how someone got into your WordPress site with Administrator role. I would say that the most likely scenario for that is he either got a hold of your WordPress password or your FTP password. Try changing those passwords on a regular basis and make them hard to crack. ~Jeff
